Exploring the runner’s relationship with the city as a layered, sensory terrain;
a place where movement is not just physical,
but cognitive. Urban running means navigating constant contrast: hard surfaces, changing materials, clashing sounds. The city shapes how the body moves and how the mind responds.
In turn, the design language in this route draws on the grit and materiality of the city itself – from worn tarmac to paving slabs, construction sites and brickwork. The identity embeds the city into every layer, creating
a noisy, tactile backdrop against which the minimal form of the Evo SL cuts through.
This grit exists across everything from the industrial-inspired custom lockup – which nods to the rivets of a shipping container and interlocking scaffolding poles – to the image treatment over which rubbings, scans, and imprints of the ground runners actually move across are overlayed.
